Ben Thompson

Born and grew up in Halifax, Yorkshire. Took a degree in English and North American Literature and the LRAM on classical guitar. Went to China in 1999 at the age of 50 to learn Mandarin and became involved in the film and TV industry. Has performed in more than 70 TV series, documentaries and films. In addition to acting, he translated the foreign actors' lines for several films and TV series including 2013 Mao Zedong.
