Shaun Chatrath was born in 1997 in Stockton, Califonia, and raised in Fremont, California. Growing up in the East Bay Area, Shaun loved to explore the various hiking areas and the local outdoors as a kid. Often comparing his childhood experience to the films such as Stand By Me, Shaun's source of creative inspiration comes from his desire to recapture the feeling of childhood discovery for the audience. Shaun has been making short films and videos since he was a teenager. His inspiration came when he saw the 2009 James Cameron film Avatar in theaters. It was during that Avatar screening that Shaun realized the potential of cinema. In the following years, he dedicated himself to studying and watching movies. Eventually joining, his high school's news and entertainment show as a lead editor, producer, and content creator. Shaun would enroll in De Anza Community College's Film program. At De Anza, Shaun would be elected as the program's club president in his final year before transferring to the University of California, Irvine. During this time, Shaun began working as a Production Assistant on various professional and fellow student film sets. In Irvine, Shaun continued creating content as well as mastering his craft. Since graduating in 2020, Shaun has worked in different film departments while expanding his brand.
