Lars Eighner

Lars Eighner began writing short stories for publications like Blueboy, In Touch for Men, Inches, and Mandate in the early 80s. These stories drew heavily on his youthful experiences as a street hustler in Houston and were the core of his story collection Bayou Boy and Other Stories. His single dip into video writing occurred during the time frame covered in his memoir Travels with Lizbeth (NY Times Book Review critics' choice). He was married to his companion of 30 years July 5, 2015.
