Matiyes is a hardworking, creative, enthusiastic actor always striving for perfection in each project that he's a part of. His passion for acting stems from his deep appreciation and love for bringing stories to life through the art of filmmaking and screenwriting. He's dedicated to the craft and surrounds himself by those that care about mastering it just as much as he does. Matiyes continuously does everything he can to further his knowledge in front of and behind the camera in order to be the very best he can be. He's sharpened his acting skills through classes and private coaching from The Actors NYC/SD Studio (now The Actors NYC/LA Studio). Since then, Matiyes seeks out and embraces challenging roles that puts these skills to the test. By doing so, he constantly learns how to put out the best finished product of himself for whatever roles he gets to portray.
