DeAnza Banuelos

Theatrically trained, DeAnza Bañuelos has brought characters to life on and off the stage for the past two decades receiving national recognition in programs such as KCACTF, and AMTC Shine 2016 while earning her BA in Performing Arts at Colorado State University. She recently appeared in "Stages" an independent short film which she assisted producing, and guest started in "All In" web series which won selections in the Blastoff LA Film Festival, and the New York Lift-Off Film Festival 2021. A passionate learner, DeAnza has studied advanced courses in acting online with Amy Joe Berman in the "Audition Rock Star Live" and developed skills in Commercial Acting working with Barry Shapiro at Herman and Lipson Casting (NYC). Her favorite roles have been Rachel in 'Appropriate' by Brandon Jacob Jenkins, and Marie Leroux in 'Is He Dead?'. She enjoys the work of developing dramatic characters and is always searching for the next story to share the human spirit. Off the stage, she has enjoyed her role as a professional model, and the challenge of creating characters for commercial and print work appearing in campaigns nationally for Topo Designs, Comfort Dental, and Mondo Guerra in Denver Fashion Week. In 2020 DeAnza moved to Australia to continue studying film acting in Brisbane, however plans shifted due to the COVID 19 pandemic, and instead of acting, she had the opportunity to produce a short video abroad and learn skills behind the camera which has inspired her to produce her own work! DeAnza resides in Los Angeles, CA and lives with her wonderful husband, where they enjoy anything breakfast food related and getting outdoors in the sunny weather!
