Brenda Patricia Garza is a Latina-American TV host and actress. She was born on July 18 in McAllen, Texas to immigrant parents originally from General Bravo, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. At a very young age, Brenda knew her calling was to become a television personality. During her early school years, she appeared in multiple commercials. While in high school, she had the opportunity to sing the National Anthem at a San Antonio Spurs game with her fellow choir, ENHS Madrigals. While at South Texas College obtaining her Business Management and Marketing Associates degree, she became the host of Club Affairs, a television program dedicated to showcasing the nightlife in South Texas. It wasn't long before she was offered modeling jobs, Tejano music video cameos, commercial and spokesperson opportunities, as well as co-hosting positions on multiple TV shows. Brenda continued her education and a received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. Before graduating, her love and passion for film and television landed her a position on the board of the South Texas International Film Festival (STXIFF). After her Facebook Live inaugural interviews of the award winners, she became STXIFF Official Red Carpet Facebook Live Host. And, in 2021, became the inaugural host of STXIFF's first-ever 48-Hour Film Race. Brenda made her acting debut playing Luisa in the film You Are My Home, which is now streaming on Netflix. The cast includes Alyssa Milano, Christian de la Fuente, Angel Parker, as well as Eva Ariel Binder.
