Chiquita Rhodes

Chiquita Rhodes is a dynamic actress who's talent is UNDENIABLE at first sight! She is considered a triple threat for her abilities to act, sing and dance. Rhodes was born and raised in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Encircled by a world of Théâtre and Arts, Rhodes always knew that her love and passion for acting would lead her to film. As an adolescent, she experienced being the center of attraction portraying characters and exuding such a confidence and presence in her performances, she would be viewed as the next up and coming star. Her high school drama teachers, dance instructors and cheerleading coaches would always put her out front for her illuminating presence and bold spirit. Rhodes believes that her gift of acting is to influence the world globally and to transform people's lives through the world of acting one scene at a time. Rhodes mentions that her mantra is, "Acting with a Purpose". Rhodes is known for her jubilant energy, being a woman of faith, an encourager and her beautiful smile! She is the mother to a son whom she loves dearly and has attributed part of her purpose in life to her son. She deems the countless life challenges and trials of her life have prepared her for every character and role she executes, concluding that life obstacles will always write the backstory. Rhodes continues to challenge herself and adds value to her gifts through continuous training and coaching such as; On Camera Workshop (Alliance Theater), Film 1 ( Alliance Theater), and Fundamentals of Acting (Celebrity Actors Studio) taught by Gaylord Parsons who is her current acting coach. Rhodes is known for her role in All Natural (2020). She has delivered outstanding performances in multiple community stage plays such as; "Aint No Business Like God's Business", played the role of Nina Childs as first lady: Q'Tani Enterprises LLC; "How To Stop Your Man From Cheating", played the role of Vy Robinson a gospel artist: Sistergirl#1 productions; "Queen Esther Woman of God, The Musical", played the role of Queen Vashti: Adderley productions LLC"; "A Raisin In The Sun", portrayed the role of Lena Younger: Carver High School Drama". Rhodes has exhibited her gift of dance being featured in multiple music videos delivering outstanding performances through choreographed artistry. Rhodes will continue to burst through on the scenes making her mark in the world of film and theatre and truly embracing the journey to changing the world one scene at a time!
