Hristos Stamatiadis is a Bulgarian actor with Greek heritage based in London. His Greek father, a language professor and Bulgarian mother, a lawyer, noticed his passion for the arts and creativity and encouraged him from a very young age to follow his dream. Auditioning at 14 for a place at the leading drama school in Bulgaria, Hristos secured his place and flourished, regularly cast as the lead in sold-out shows throughout his five years, performing to audiences of 230 biannually. In 2015 Hristos was cast as Ivan "The Rifle" in "Is there any point in killing a bear" and toured Bulgaria, playing at sold out venues including The Palace of Youth in Sofia, The 700 seat Aytos Theatre and The National Home Of Culture for Burgas. The company won BEST SHOW in the National Bulgarian Acting Craftmanship Competition. His effervescent personality also resulted in Hristos frequently being asked to step up and host live events and concerts in his town. His charming presenting style engaged international audiences and led to a request from the city's mayor to compere the world renowned International Folklore Festival for the city of Burgas. Hristos proudly compered the festival for two consecutive years in 2017 from the city's football stadium and in 2018 with the backdrop of Burgas Municipality. In 2018 Hristos was also awarded a prize for his performance of Hristo Fotev's poetry by the National Puppetry Theatre and a year later he graduated as a professional actor and moved to London. He has since transferred his skills to screen and has credits under his belt in English, Greek and Bulgarian
