Ryan Conway is an up and coming talent that promises to be a force to be reckoned with in the very near future. His unique voice and comedic mind make him stand out above the rest. Conway was born in Westchester, New York on January 26, 1997 (Super Bowl Sunday). At age 2, Ryan was diagnosed with brain cancer and underwent treatment. During treatment, he found himself watching lots of television and movies, specifically comedy. This would jump start his love for stories, inspiring him to create his own comics, short stories, etc, and really ignited his creative mind. At ten years old, Ryan joined John Robert Powers Agency, where he took classes and auditioned for multiple commercials. At 15 years old, Ryan joined interFACE talent agency, and scored background roles on television show's such as Blue Bloods and Orange is the New Black, as being in a couple Local Kia Commercials. Throughout this time, Ryan continued to create, even writing his first television pilot at age 14. Ryan decided to attend Sacred Heart University, and studied Media Arts, with a concentration in film and television. As an undergrad, he was further able to develop his acting and creative skills, heading multiple creative projects, ranging from studio shows, to a interactive VR film. Most notably, Ryan was the head writer and star of Sacred Heart University's variety show, Daylight. Entering senior year, Ryan was tasked to create a Senior Project that would utilize all the skills he gained in his four years at Sacred Heart University. Using his time as Daylight as an inspiration, he created On Air, a single camera sitcom that would follow the cast and crew of a hit variety show, and their lives behind the scenes. The pilot was made for no money, using non professional equipment, and the cast was made up of Conway himself, and his childhood friends. Despite the amateur production, On Air was an instant success, winning the award of Best TV Show at the Sacred Heart University Senior Honors, as well as being a Five Time Festival Finalist (In festivals such as The IndieX Film Fest, New York Movie Awards, The TASTE Awards, etc.) Ryan Conway got his MFA in Sacred Heart University's Film and Television Graduate Program, and has continued to create great content. He wrote and directed One Up, a short film that follows two childhood rivals as they compete to get an autograph from their favorite movie star, and wrote, directed, and starred in Broken Dolls and Broken Dreams, a short film spoof of the 1940s film noir genre that follows two detectives as they investigate the beheading of a little girls mint condition doll.
