Magdalene Groves

Good fortune afforded Magdalene the rare opportunity to travel internationally as a teenager through her work as a model, with extended stays in Asia, parts of Europe, South America, and all over the world. The broader and deeper understanding of human nature she gratefully received enhanced her sense of empathy and set fire to her deepest passion: the craft of acting. A Florida-born Texan, Magdalene has shifted focus away from her international wanderlust into a new kind of journey, digging in her heels into the work of a professional actor, returning to her first love. The journey began with starring roles in 'American Baptism' and 'Charlie Austen's Solo'; challenging, polemical short narratives in a series that deals with hard subjects of racial prejudice, inequality, and systemic oppression in America, her home country. Eyes on the horizon, Magdalene's journey into exploring and revealing both the darkest and brightest aspects of our human nature has just begun, with much promise ahead.
