Riel John-Baptiste is an actor who has moved very quickly within the film industry since making the decision to go with his heart and dedicate his life to acting at the age of 19. Since then, Riel has acted most notably, as the lead in a feature film 'Everyday Is Your Last' (2020), a film about mortality which had its movie premier in front of a large audience in Westminster, Atmosphere Venues on January 19th 2020. Riel also wrote and acted as the lead in the heavy drama and mental health driven short film 'Save Me From Myself' (2020), which will be doing the rounds at the film festivals. Riel also starred in the short film 'The Unwanted' which was written and directed by the visual effects artist Keanan Cantrell, Riel lead the story set in a futuristic world where he played the boyfriend of his pregnant girlfriend and wished to keep the baby despite technology informing the doctors the baby would become a criminal. In 2018, Riel had a supporting role in the tear-jerking AVA, an LGBTQ film where he played the best friend of a teenager struggling to come to terms with the reaction of his mother when he revealed his sexuality to her. Riel has also acted in various other short films and online commercials. Riel is a very versatile and expressive actor who commits to every role, and enjoys tackling them from a unique perspective. Riel is also a keen writer and enjoys implementing creative ideas into his storytelling.
