Genevieve Victoria Bergdorf was born September 30th, 1984, in Orange, California. She is an actress, singer, songwriter, dancer. You can find some of her original music on SoundCloud. She describes her sound as Pop Music with influences such as Barbara Streisand, Bjork, Mariah Carey and Sarah Vaughan. Genevieve studied music in jazz & marching band where she played the clarinet and sang in show choir throughout high school. She then went on to community college to study acting, musical theatre, many styles of dance, jazz vocal music and studio sound engineering. She studied the History of Jazz with the Legendary Jazz Bassist Art Davis. She has sung with jazz ensembles under the direction of Tom Kubis. She began dancing ballet, jazz and tap at the age of three. During college she had an intense focus in the study of ballet, jazz, modern, salsa and swing styles. She performed on stage in the Long Beach City College Dance Concerts for 4 years. Genevieve has performed in the Art of Burlesque since the early 2000's where she developed her solo act and made her own costumes. She is also a Burlesque Dance Instructor. She studied acting at Berg Studios and improv at The Groundlings in Los Angeles, California. Later she began her studies at My Acting Studio in Long Beach, California, under the direction of Charles Tentindo. There she has worked with many talented artists in film, cartoon voice over and radio.
