Ali Ahmed

Ali hails from Scranton, PA (yes, like The Office), but resides primarily in NYC. He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Neuroscience and Film, and a graduate of the Neighborhood Playhouse School of Theatre. Ali is also a former employee of ICM Partners where he was mentored by a veteran literary and talent agent. One of his feature screenplays, The Mirage, a Syrian refugee coming of age family drama, has been championed by many esteemed individuals in the industry, including a veteran ICM Agent, an Academy Award-nominated Director, and an Emmy Award-winning Producer. Ali has had the opportunity to meet with Netflix regarding his work and pitch to them. He is a co-host of Kalakars' Writers Workshop (a collective that aims to nurture and promote South Asian talent).
