Russian born producer Victoria Petrova (Victoria Petroff) has already achieved more in her young life than most producers or journalists dream possible. She was born in Moscow, Russia on 27 May 1988 in the diplomatic family. At the age of two, Victoria's family relocated to Prague, Czech Republic, where she spent her early childhood. At the age of 11, she moved with her family to Crimea, Ukraine. She graduated from V.I. Vernadsky Crimean Federal University in Simferopol, Ukraine in June 2009, and from the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv with a Master of Arts in International Journalism in June 2010. After receiving her education, Victoria Petrova worked in different Ukrainian media, such as Inter TV Channel and STB Channel. In 2011 she was invited to Channel One Russia and moved back to Moscow. During 3 years Victoria Petrova cooperated with few projects on the main federal channel, such as talk-show "Let's talk" and common Ukrainian project "About life", where she held the position of Senior and Chief-editor. Within and throughout this period Victoria has conducted numerous sociopolitical based and celebrity interviews and also generated a large number of material and analysis that proved vital in television programs and educational documentaries. She covered a lot of events, such as the Olympic Games, Eurovision Song Contest, Miss Universe (with Donald Trump), Film Festivals, etc. In 2014 Victoria Petrova started to work in the team of "Central Television" project on NTV Channel as an international producer. She made several reports from Oscar Ceremony, Cannes Film Festival, Venice Film Festival, etc. In 2015 her common documentary project with NBC Sports U.S. "Long Way Home: The Jessica Long Story" was nominated for two 36th Annual Sports Emmy Awards (Outstanding Long Feature and Outstanding Long Form Editing). At the same time, Victoria Petrova joined a film industry. She is working as a producer in cooperation with talented Russian film director Andrey Grigoryev ("Vasenin" movie). Now Victoria is cooperating with The Times of Israel, where she holds her own blog. She is also working on several documentary projects in London, where she is moving now. Also, in 2020 she will release a documentary project about Kosovo.
