Phil Hong Nguyen is an expert Botox doctor turned actor just because a casting director patient told him his look right now was "hot". So he started taking acting lessons and realized acting was so much harder than medical school. He was so bad at acting at first that his loving partner actually told him he sucked, so he kicked his partner out of the bedroom for two weeks. "I can't have you going around thinking you're good. I'm not going to let you embarrass yourself and me!" With this smack down challenge, he worked tirelessly to perfect his craft and booked his first commercial 2 years later. Now he regularly books national commercials and independent films, and has even booked a commercial in Vietnam! He was pinned for a guest starring role on Station 19 - a Shonda Rhimes show, so Hollywood thinks he's ready for prime time.
