Wayne Petitto

Wayne is a talented, well-trained screenplay writer with a Master Screenwriter Certificate from ScreenwritingU. He draws from a very successful and varied set of life experiences to include: USAF Officer, Navigator, Combat Veteran, Commander, owner/operator of several businesses to include building an 18,200 sq ft shopping center, 3 Taekwondo Schools (4th degree Black Belt), a family entertainment center (laser-tag, bumper cars, Spider Jumper, Soccer Pool), and stock-market derivatives trading. During his AF career, he was an Infra Red Sensor Operator on the AC-130H Gunship during the Vietnam war. He was a navigator on C-141 flying world wide. He has Commanded Airlift Operations from the most austere locations on earth, to include Mogadishu, Somalia; Port-au-Prince, Haiti; King Khalid Military. City, Saudi Arabia; Split Airdrome, Croatia; La Ceiba, Honduras; and Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina. He has degrees in AeroSpace Engineering & Mechanical Engineering, from Wentworth College (1972); Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University (1986); and Music Composition & Classical Guitar at the Boston Conservatory of Music Class or 1983. He learned sculpting from his father Albert, and painting from his mother Julia, both highly successful artist. Wayne began studying script writing in the '80s, reading many books and working on his own. He attended Robert McKee's 3-day seminar "Story" and has been a ScreenwritingU student since 2018. He's highly regarded by fellow students and anyone who has read his work. Wayne is a 4th degree black belt, has coached, played, and refereed ice hockey, plays tennis, and edits sport highlight videos of kids' sports. Wayne draws from the above varied high level experiences to create extremely realistic, believable scripts, scenes, and dialogue. His greatest talent seems to be that he can take the most troublesome concept and give it realistic and natural motivations, situations, and actions.
