Jonathan D. Holman is an actor, vocalist and songwriter. His music controls and consumes his spirit; without it he has no reason to be upon this Earth. When he sings, he ministers first to himself and then to others. With acting, singing and songwriting combined - Performing Arts is truly his eternal calling. Born in North Philadelphia, PA and raised most of his life in Trenton, NJ his exposure to the Arts (specifically music) was rooted in his life experiences while growing up in Trenton. Friendship Baptist Church in Trenton, NJ made him and Kingdom Church of Ewing, NJ spiritually raised him. In the 1990s he performed with Anthony Booker & Praise Power, and Natalie Wilson & S.O.P. as a singer and drummer. He later recorded with Craig Hayes & The United Voices of Trenton. In the 2000s he also sang with the Edwin Hawkins Seminary Choir, which led to performances in Europe with the Sundance Productions. His music ministry then led him to sing with Queen Esther Marrow & The Harlem Gospel Singers and eventually to recordings with Min. Darryl Cherry & The Covenant Mass Choir. After going through homelessness, losing his business and family due to financial problems, God spoke to his spirit and said, "Your Day is Coming." He wrote the lyrics and the music for this first solo track in the Inspirational House music style. Blending House and Gospel Inspiration was a natural development to encompass two styles woven deep in his soul. His Acting experience consists of several stage plays, including "The Streets Can't Have My Son" by Playwright Carl Hicks; and "Beyond The Song: The Musical" by Vision Life Films. He has also been featured in several Independent films.
