Although born in central Texas, Valerie spent much of her childhood moving around. At the age of 9 years old, she moved to Prague, Czech Republic where her interest in acting really began. She joined a theatre troupe there, and landed her first film gig. She then moved to USA and knew there was nothing more she wanted to do than act. She graduated college after two years, and began her full time acting career at the age of 18.
