Poornima Meegammana

Poornima Meegammana is a Sri Lankan filmmaker and animator with a background in social development and technology. She has made several empathy-driven short films about social issues with topics ranging from Child Soldiers, Cyber Harassment, Gender Equality, Environment, street harassment etc. Poornima's creative and social development work has been recognized with many international awards like Adobe aspire award, ISOC 25 under 25 award, Queen's young leaders' award ( Runner up) and Microsoft-World Bank Youth Solutions Award. Poornima is also one of the first recipients of Adobe Creativity Scholarship in 2013.
