Jacob Jackson is a British actor born in Leeds, West Yorkshire. Jacob studied A-level Theatre, as well Philosophy and Sociology at Notre Dame Catholic Sixth Form College in Leeds. Three years later, Jacob graduated from Sheffield Hallam University in 2019 with a BA in 'Performance for Stage & Screen'. During Jacob's time both in and out of studies, Jacob got involved numerous performances. His first performance at Sheffield was as part of a new play called 'Dead' written by Hattie Naylor and directed by Dr Henry Bell, for the Catalyst Festival in Sheffield. As Jacob moved onto his final year at university, he worked with the post-dramatic theatre company 'Doppelgangster' to create a piece of theatre that tackled climate change, as well as the tree felling in Sheffield, this was supported by 'Season for Change' and received lots of support from Sheffield's environmentalist groups. After university in March 2020, Jacob voice acted for a project created by 'Studio Poplo'. As lock-down has made work difficult for professional actors, Jacob decided to be creative in this difficult time, supporting a Hull based theatre company called 'Appos Art' with their fundraising project. The project was to perform 30 Monologues for 30 days to raise money in support of NHS Charities. Jacob's first official IMDB Credit will be 'Last Rites' a crime mockumentary, that will be going to the Raindance Festival in 2020, as part of the National Youth Film Academy's 'Set Ready' Course.
