Rohit Mehta was born in Indore (Madhya Pradesh) to a middle class business family. He graduated in Commerce in his home town, following which he moved to Mumbai in 2012. He was awarded a place at the prestigious Anupam Kher Acting School where he trained and further enhanced this by attending workshops run by Nadira Babbar Ekjute. Rohit's first commercial success was in 2012 when he was selected for an advert for Patel Tea, Gujarat. Further success followed with a series of commercials for brands such as KFC , Kotak Mahindra, Flipkart, Iodex, Amazon, Axis Bank. His artistic repertoire includes a number of short films: Pardon, Upma, Timezone, A Bra In Need and Aayat, and he was recently chosen for the starring role in the feature film Veer Gomtesha which was released to great acclaim on 15th Oct 2021.
