"Remained enthusiastic and listened to instructions perfectly and was lovely to work with" (Exposed, Short Film, Southampton 2019). "Immensely talented ... did a great job, took direction really well and is an incredibly polite young person" (Torchwood 2000, Farnham 2020). Hannah Mauvis is not the gushing theatrical type but this gives her a versatility that means she has been cast for varied roles. Hannah herself drives her quest to act, supported by her School and parents. Her recent acting work includes a lead role in the Torchwood 2000 Web Series (2020) and the short film In Touch (Almost) (2020) which included voice-over work. Previously Hannah was selected to appear in a presenting role for MacMillan Education (2019) and was the "Nice Child" in a Short Film for the NSPCC (2018). She has also recently taken part in a Corporate Stills Shoot for CSA Barnardos (2019). Hannah has attended Theatre Arts School since she was 6 years old, achieving her LAMDA Grade 3 Solo exam in Summer 2019. She also sings, studying for ABRSM Grade 5 singing, and takes bi-weekly out-of-school lessons in Contemporary dance. In addition, Hannah is studying for GCSE Drama and GCSE Dance. Hannah was successful in her audition to be a member of West Berkshire Youth Dance Company. Living within 1 hr by train from Central London, Hannah lives with her family, which includes her younger brother who also acts, and her pets. She can have a "sporty" appearance if required and swims (Grade 9), dances contemporary dance and has experience of cricket, trampolining, golf and netball. She has a fairly neutral accent and can speak in a General American and a reasonable RP accent when required.
