Pamela Douglass grew up in a Southern Baptist household in Alabama and always dreamed of doing missionary work. Inspired by her transgender sister, Pamela made it her mission to make sure everyone was treated equally, even when it came to health care. Many years later, Pamela's dream of helping others became a reality when she became a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. In 2018, her then-husband and father of her two children passed away from brain cancer. The unfortunate death of her ex-husband inspired Pamela to get into the free-clinic field. She feels it is her duty to make sure those in need never go without proper health care. As a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner for a Mobile Clinic, Pamela is responsible for treating homeless youth, refugees, and those who have fallen victim to sex trafficking. Despite working nine hours a day, she is on call 24/7 for her patients. Pamela has teamed up with her local church in order to help provide her patients and their families with the resources and essentials they need. She will go above and beyond to make sure her patients have what they need, even if it means she has to wake up earlier or skip her lunch break to pick up donations from the church. Being a full-time mother to two boys, one of which suffers from asthma, has put an emotional strain on Pamela. Nonetheless, she tries to stay positive and makes sure after she gets off of work, she is home right in time to help with their schoolwork. Since the passing of her first husband, Pamela fell in love with a pharmacist from Egypt and the couple had planned on getting married at the beginning of May. All she needs is the dress to make her dreams come true.
