Santos Silvestre Herrera

Santos Silvestre Herrera is a Director, Producer, and Screenwriter. He is known for producing "Bad Hombrewood," a Documentary Short that explores and unpacks the Latinx representation in Hollywood. The film features Academy Award-winning filmmakers Guillermo Del Toro, Phil Lord, and Lee Unkrich, as well as Actress Melissa Fumero from the Golden Globe-winning show "Brooklyn Nine-Nine." Herrera is also known for writing and directing the film "Of Reasons and Rumors," which follows a Latinx family in East LA, as they navigate making the decision to get vaccinated against Covid-19. The film was presented to the White House Covid-19 Community Corp, the Association of Schools & Programs in Public Health (ASPPH), and the Hispanic Alliance for Health. As a result, the film has reached millions across the US, Guatemala, and Canada.
