Shai Vanderploeg

Shai Vanderploeg was born on May 23, 2001, in Albert Lea, Minnesota, to Janelle and Ryan Vanderploeg. His father, lost his job and there family went homeless when Shai was just sixteen years old. Eventually ending up moving into a house in Tennessee almost a year later. After his sophomore year of high school he switched to online school to focus on work as well as graduate faster. Shai worked as a waiter and host at Cracker Barrel until he was eighteen. Shai later worked at Game Stop part time while starting his own film company "JG Studios" named after his childhood YouTube channel "Jollyhimoon Gaming" as he still wanted to entertain people the way he did before. After Working hard on building up his resources for a few months he began work on his first film "Consumed" a horror/thriller set to release October 15th, 2021.
