John Babu

John Babu is an up-and-coming Writer/Director from Toronto. Mostly self taught, his passion for the arts has made him explore filmmaking and other visual media. Due to being an 'outsider', he constantly relies on technology and social media platforms to find artists for helping him realize his visions. Although John likes to watch all types of films regardless of the time periods, genres and languages, he has a soft spot for mysteries/thrillers/dramas. Some of his inspirations in directing are Steven Spielberg, Christopher Nolan and Mani Ratnam.
