Makai Renee Maholmes

Makai Renee Maholmes, born in Stone Mountain, Ga, relocated to Los Angeles, CA with her mother at the age of 7. From an early age, Makai has always been a social butterfly and full of energy, enjoying activities such as dancing, gymnastics, and more. Getting a taste of what it's like being in front of the camera, Makai made her first television appearance on Devious Maids as an extra at the age of 6, in 2012. In 2018, Makai appeared on Nickelodeons game show "Keep It Spotless" where she and her team mate had a blast and actually won the competition. After Makai's mother noticed her growing interest in acting, she put Makai in acting classes where she began studying at Cynthia Bains Young Actors Studio and Grays Studios. In the summer of 2019, Makai filmed a short film with Gray Productions called 'Closest Friends'. She played Malani, a teenager from Atlanta, Ga who was being uprooted from her friends to move to a new city. In addition to acting, Makai's first love is dance. She trains at some of the most prestigious dance studios in LA and Atlanta and is training to dance professionally. When not acting and dancing Makai enjoys spending time with her family and friends, swimming, going to the beach and having family movie nights.
