Robin is an Arizona native and lived in various towns including Chinle on the Navajo Reservation. In 1966 when he was ten, his schoolteacher mom got a job in Hawaii where he lived for five years. Then a year in SLC, Utah, a year in Phoenix and back to SLC to graduate from High School. During High School he was a Varsity wrestler all four years. His interest in martial arts began in Hawaii when he began Karate lessons with a local instructor. Lots more traveling and after marriage living in Arkansas where he got a part in the miniseries, "The Blue and the Gray". This got him his SAG card. Off to NYC to do theatre and commercials. Then out to California for parts on a variety of shows. Family comes first and Robin ended up signing on with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. During this time he earned a 2nd degree black belt and teaching certificate in Tae Kwon Do and rankings in other arts. In 1989 he won the first US Middleweight Savate Championship. Still active in martial arts, he is now a 5th degree in Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu, a Krav Maga for Law Enforcement instructor, a Professional Instructor in the Apache Knife Combat system and is the co-founder of a new martial system, Lamh Bata Lann. Now a Reserve Deputy, he works with the Video Production Unit of the Sheriff's Department. He has worked on the three short films that have won local Emmy Awards. Actor and fight choreographer.
