Janika La'Shae

I'm Janika La'Shae born and raised in Houston, TX where I own a Real Estate Investing Co. I'm a former Realtor & Advisor that successfully served my community in the Financial Services Industry for 13 years. Growing up my parents afforded me opportunities to act, model, play the cello, piano, perform at talent shows and community plays. I was quiet and observant but I loved to entertain and make people smile. I remember at 12 years old I would close my eyes and see myself on the big stage. My passions came to a halt my senior year in high school when I became a teen mom. By age 24 I was a single mom, divorced and depressed. I began my journey of self discovery for years I felt like a failure and slowly learned to be proud of myself and my work. To my surprise my dreams of acting presented itself again during quarantine via Tiktok. I didn't know my dream that I buried years ago would come back full circle during a world crisis offering the opportunity to work with actors I grew up watching on television as a child. I'm so thankful for the opportunities I've had and the amazing people I've met along the way. I hope my story inspires young women to embrace life's journey, gracefully pivot through challenges, trust everything is working together for your good in divine timing and it's never too late to start a new life for yourself.
