Nicole Ishimaru

Japanese-Chinese dancer born in California. In 2016 she graduated at the Dmitri Kulev Classical Ballet Academy, Orange County. With the O.C. Ballet Theatre she performed multiple works of George Balanchine receiving at the age of 15 the National Youngarts Foundation's Gold Award. Three years later, after touring internationally for Daniel Ezralow, the Ate 9 Los Angeles, the Western Dance Project and the Hubbard Street Chicago Company, she joined the group 2 of the Netherlands Dans Theatre Company until her promotion to NDT 1 in 2020.
