Lyndall Stephenson was born in Huntingdon, England, to American mother Jean Stephenson, and South African father Chris Stephenson. Even though Lyndall lived in England for the first 16 years of her life, she spent multiple months out of the year traveling between America and South Africa. This resulted in her having a blended accent of all three countries, and identifying as a third-culture kid. Despite her own unique accent, Lyndall can also do a British, American, and South African accent independently. At 16, Lyndall moved to North Carolina, USA, to live with her Aunt and Uncle and finish high school. At 18, Lyndall moved to California to do her undergraduate degree at Westmont College, Santa Barbara. Lyndall's Senior Thesis Film "Nomad," about female homelessness in Santa Barbara which she wrote, directed, and starred in, won the Jury Award at the 2020 SBIFF Student Online Showcase. Lyndall now resides in Los Angeles, pursuing her dreams of acting and film-making.
