Clearly you can see from the IMDb profile, the majority of her work has been opportunities she paid to attend (classes) and/or convinced friends to hang out with her to film and play around with improv. Jonna (pronounced John + na, or you can just call her Jo) sees this as a strength in her not only being a strong actor, but a committed learner and spitfire person. She takes every role and project as a creative adventure and performs best when she is improvising or going "off script". Jonna grew up in a small town committed to the arts, but her roles in theatre tended to be non-speaking. Jonna always found a way to steal the attention (not during the show, because she was committed to team's performance), but during practice. She once quietly crept up to a human tree while playing Toto in Wizard of Oz and proceeded to lift her leg in the middle of the scene. She told the director this was natural dog behavior and she was just playing the role. After deciding to move away for college (a whole hour away that is), she started to focus more on her skills of leadership in her extra curriculars. However, the creative entertainer still lived. By her Sophomore year, she and her Student Government buddies had resurrected an old college news show, Charger Cast, and turned it into a completely Improvised weekly web-series. Jonna was thrilled to be able to host and share her super dry humor with the world. Whether she was the most talented in the group or not, she was in every episode mostly because she was always there to help film, cast, direct, and of course, edit the whole thing. She has since paid for many acting and improv classes by editing wedding videos. Jonna can be found performing Improv in the Atlanta and Toronto areas and is seeking roles in drama and comedy worldwide.
