Simran Lee "S. Lee" Tahla is a Punjabi American producer and actress. Born in Patiala, Punjab, she spent her formative years in New York City where her family immigrated. Her father worked as a television producer for the Indian ITV Network as a creator for his own show, Desh Pardesh, and later as a Punjabi music radio show host and disc jockey. In high school, Lee excelled to district champion in Comedic, Dramatic, Poetry, and Prose categories throughout Speech & Debate, and UIL circuits. In 2020, she began training in the Meisner technique taught by a 25-year veteran of The Casting Society of America and former Senior Vice President of Feature Casting for the Walt Disney Company. Lee has since lead production on a music infused fantasy fiction project, working as the story maker, songwriter, performer, and co-producer for the soundtrack, as well as writer and producer for the animated story pitch. Lee is a brand-centered artist who is selective about her casting applications, and places 'Kahani', "The Story", above all other priorities or roles in film and music.
