Augustine Lungu Jr.

Augustine Lungu is an articulate, detail oriented, non-fiction writer hailing from the capital of the southern most central African land locked pride, Zambia, and is based further deep in its fortress capital Lusaka. Born February 7 1995 to Lenje and Kunda parents, he has been a writer of poetry since 2013 and is a Screenwriter and Producer for Television. A piece from his first book, "Life Cycle of the African Negro," won the Best Poetry Entry Award at the prestigious National Theatre Arts Association Awards in 2018. His first film as Producer, Spiral Bound made official selection and won best film at the 2020 Zambezi Magic Short Film Competition. He takes great pride in relishing challenges and exploring the untold narratives of his African culture.
