Ingvar Denis

As a 2019 BCC Media and Digital Film Production graduate, Ingvar Denis got the opportunity to intern at Silvercup Studios North located in the Port Morris neighborhood of the Bronx. Silvercup Studios is one of the largest film and television production facilities in New York City. During his internship, Ingvar worked in the Silvertrucks lighting department and observed complicated sets for Movies and TV productions. In addition to maintaining an outstanding 4.0 GPA at BCC, Ingvar was an active member in both the Media and Digital Film Club and Film Society. Ingvar was also a videographer in the SPEAKEASY TV studio and served as a Federal College Work-Study Assistant in the department. He was a student member of the Society of Motion Pictures and Television Engineers (SMPTE), a New York Film and Television Student Alliance (NYFTSA) member, and has been a judge for the Panasonic Kid Witness News Program. Ingvar was also the editor for the Open Doors Film Panel Live Club Webcast Series. He has volunteered on the feature movie Paradise City as a production assistant and took part in the Local 52 IATSE, Motion Picture Studio Mechanics Training Program. Ingvar received the 2019 Promise Prize from the Change, Create Transform Foundation and The Avid Technology Editing Award. Ingvar has been a crew member on numerous student projects, several short films, and a myriad of comedy sketches.
