Melanie Rae Wendt

Melanie Rae (Edgar) Wendt was born on August 11, 1994 in Butte, MT. She started acting when she was three, and was hooked ever since. Melanie found skill and training while in high school. She completed mezzo-soprano training, had the lead female role in every production for four years, and competed at the state level speech and drama competitions with a self written dramatic monologue. Much of her formative years were spent watching countless movies with her parents where they made up games like Name That Actor, What Else Have They Been In, and Name the Production Company By Their Logo. She was disappointed in high school to find no one outside of her immediate family played these types of games. Melanie has used her skills both in front of and behind the camera, functioning as everything from a production assistant to location scout, and most recently, writer and co-director.
