Coach Peake was born Calvin Keshawn Peake in Union, South Carolina. He is known for his singles "Cut Her Good" and "Ask Myself." Even though he has been doing music since 2009, Coach Peake did not start acting until 2020. From playing drums to singing on the choir, he would began to take interest in music at a young age. Once he got older, he would eventually began to rap and produce other local artists in his city. Coach Peake also did various stage plays for his drama class during his high school years but he never considered taking acting serious. After graduating high school, Peake went on to continue putting out various singles and mixtapes further pushing his musical direction. In 2014 he released "Best Believe It" which was hosted by DJ Shon and DJ Legacy out of Chicago. In 2016 and released the two singles "10 Toes Down" and "Switched Up." Coach Peake would meet with a couple of record labels. Each label turned him down. He would continue to release music through an independent record label UpFront Recordings. A few years later, Peake struck a publishing deal with California based publishing company Crucial Music. He would go on to release singles such as "Taste Like" and "Gotta Go". Eventually, Coach Peake would find his way to acting after landing a principal acting role in an independent film in 2020.
