Peruvian-born, Netherlands-based; with Chinese and Japanese roots; Ricardo Yui is a visual artist and filmmaker living and working in Amsterdam. In his films, the Modern dream, already broken, is embodied by damned characters living on the margins of a failed system, and walking through their path of redemption. Nowadays, Ricardo develops his first feature film, Devenir, a dystopian drama telling the story of a migrant woman surviving the social collapse and the climate Apocalypse.
