Screenwriter and Executive Producer Charlie Savage glows with high levels of enthusiasm when creating visual literature in the form of thrilling drama big-screen film and series. The Co-Founder of Nikky Productions is a Navy Vet and New Orleans native who focuses her gift of artistic creation to better the social conversations closest to her purpose. Her goal is to educate those in support of the Creole heritage, Women of Color, and the LGBTQIA+ community. She writes stories filled with graphic emotions, a history lesson, and a good jump scare. Each piece Charlie has been involved in has centered around vital topics that affect her social focuses but often are overlooked. Her most recent executive-produced project, a live read of a co-created production "Uriel", gives insight into loneliness while living the black female experience. In recent years, Charlie has been a Top 10 Finalist for Ms. Veteran America and was previously nominated for the Washington D.C. Dunkin Donut Community Hero award. Ms. Savage is a former fellow of the Writer's Guild Foundation Veterans Project, a Semi-Finalist in the Creative Screenwriting Unique Voices Competition, and a past Finalist of the Prince William Little Theatre's Original Works Festival. She is a current member of the Collective Five Entertainment Showrunner's Academy. Charlie has a graduate degree in Management and an undergrad in Journalism and Mass Communications. She lives in Los Angeles, has two devilishly handsome sons Ja'Mauri and Jazir, and a 3-pound Yorkie Mushu.
