Dedicated to the craft, and an unstoppable force, Teck has worked her way up through the ranks in virtually every film department, from assistant directing to gripping, art directing, and editorial, always demonstrating a relentless work ethic and unwavering commitment to each project. Teck has worked on the sets of ESPN, LIFETIME, and NAT GEO. She has also directed and worked on countless music videos, commercials, and visual art projects. Born in Malaysia, Teck grew up in the mid-west speaking Chinese and taught herself English by listening to Eminem. Able to stand out, blend in, navigate, weave, and be in-between worlds, Teck has the ability to tap and channel a deep reservoir of creative energy. Teck also cut her teeth in front of the camera with dramatic and comedic roles, as well as stunt work. She's played Elyse in Don't Sweat the Small Stuff: The Kristine Carson Story (2021), performed her own stunts in RideShare (2021) and starred in Thomas Rhett's music video Slow Down Summer (2021). Teck is now living in Los Angeles and working around the world. She loves working on underdog stories, feature-length films, and compelling action stories that challenge the status quo.
