Hindukush Bharadwaj

Hindukush Bharadwaj is a film writer,director and a musician. His short films were screened in 100+ film festivals fetching more than 40 international accolades including 'Jio mumbai film festival ,MAMI' with prestigious nominations from Filmfare and Dadasaheb Phalke Awards.His music albums were released on T-series,Zee, Doordarshan and Sydney Radio-Australia. He is also proficient in painting, photography, lyrics and poetry. As a chief engineer officer in Merchant navy, he has sailed across the globe for 25 years. Hindukush released his first music album 'Sanskardhara' based on the theme 'Vedmantronse Vandemataram tak' in 1989. It was a unique piece of work at that time since it contained sanskrit works by the sages like, Rishi Athatharva,Adi Shankaracharya,Maharishi Vyas and suktas from Samveda.In 1992,he released second musical album,Poorna Brahma. The profits earned from above projects were donated to social causes. He is into making another Musical album, titled,Akshar Dhara,whis is narrated by Shri Suresh Oberoi and participant eminent singers are shri Suresh Vadkar and classical singer Pratima Tilak. Hindukush has composed music for a few jingles and title songs for TV serial's pilot episodes. He also has the proficiency as a Dubbing artist and has lent voice to few documentaries. He has undergone extensive and successful training in acting and voice culture from Padma Shri Vaman Kendre,ex director of NSD. He has acted in few marathi TV serials as well. Hindukush has completed courses in screenplay writing/ humorous writings from Whistling Woods International,Mumbai. He has directed Tele films/ pilot episodes for TV serials on behalf of Prime TV Networks. He has participated in several painting exhibitions.his paintings in watercolors,oil / acrylic on canvas are in prominents offices across the globe. He has worked as a graphic designer for a few books as well. He has many articles printed in various newspapers like Times of India and others. Recently Hindukush was awarded for his poetry 'Shravan Geete' by Sanskar Bharati. His basic qualification is class 1 Marine Engineer Officer.While sailing across the seven seas with multinational crew,like Norwegians, British,Canadian,filipinos,Polish and Italians,he has visited more than 50 countries.This gave him the opportunity to observe the world ,experiencing the one world family, Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam,in real sense.
