Peter Bell is a filmmaker based out of Virginia that has been acting, writing, and producing films for the past several years with 1716 Digital. Peter's love for film began at a very young age watching movies by M. Night Shyamalan, Stanly Kubrick, Elem Klimov, and Sam Mendes. These directors, along with a deep fascination for the arts & history, fostered a passion that has driven him to work with the 1716 team in creating a variety of feature length and short films. Since 2018, Peter has been working with 1716 Digital to deliver a variety of entertainment. Over the past year or so, 1716 has amassed a quarter million followers on their TikTok. The content on TikTok includes short videos of the movie making process each day they are in production for a film. The viewership from TikTok has given the team a platform to promote other social media such as YouTube and Instagram, which has allowed them to connect more with their audience and receive feedback from other amateur filmmakers from around the world. Acting for Peter has always been one of his strongest abilities. Starting in theatre at a young age, people began to noticed that he had a strong stage presence . He wanted to see where that could take him. Peter is able to play a wide range of characters. In past productions, Peter has mastered the portrayal of complex characters and displayed an ability to convey emotions uniquely. From an escaped mental patient with severe schizophrenia, to a racist World War 2 soldier, to a manipulative high schooler struggling to cover up a murder; Peter goes above and beyond what is expected of him to become his character and has proven to work well with fellow cast & crew to achieve their goals.
