Stratis Kas

Stratis Kas is a Greek-Italian film maker who has long sailed between New York, London and Athens. He is now based primarily in Paris. The characters that populate his work come against the visual sophistication of his carefully studied compositions. We are in balance, between strength and beauty. Film-maker, adventurer and storyteller, he deals with all of his subjects with unique sensitivity. For ten years he was the creative director of the award winning, art magazine "Nakedbutsafe", where he often explored storytelling with bizarre provoking visuals and out-of-the ordinary narratives. His transition to film maker was inevitable. In 2017 he finished his first short film, the adventure documentary "Amphitrite" that got a finalist place in the film festival "Short to the Point" in 2018. Never is his first fiction film.
