Nikolas Margaritis

Nikolas Margaritis was born in Athens (Greece) in 1976. He holds a master's degree in Analytical Chemistry and works as a manager of clinical trials in the pharma industry. He studied Composition & Aesthetics in Photography and he got intrigued in photographing nature and the cityscapes and participated in various group photographic projects, exhibitions and publications. He became a scuba diver in 2011 and became a tech and cave certified diver soon after. He participated in various projects such as Ghostfishing, Lake Vouliagmeni pond project, Vouliagmeni Lagoon 3D mapping, and several local biowatch activities. Nikolas is interested in ecology (conservation biology, animal welfare, and environment), citizen science, cave & wreck diving, photography and filmmaking. Nikolas, is the co-founder, primary underwater cinematographer & photographer of the Top2Bottom Diving Team.
