McFloyd Nguyen

McFloyd Nguyen was born and raised in Saigon, Vietnam and later moved to Fullerton, California at the age of 13. He recently graduated from Chapman University - Dodge College of Film & Media Arts with a BFA in Film Production. Since 2018, McFloyd has worked on numerous Chapman student films as well as independent film projects both in the US and Vietnam as director, writer, and editor. His most notable work includes Nostalgia (2020), a short narrative that has won him a number of film awards and nominations internationally. Having spent his time on both sides of the Pacific, McFloyd aims to bring his unique storytelling vision onto a universal medium, connecting people across all borders and beliefs.
