Haislan Garcia

Professional wrestler, Haislan Garcia was born on March 4, 1983 in Guanbacoa, Cuba. His parents are Regla Garcia Martinez and Eutimio Veranes Goulet. He began wrestling at eight years old. In 2004, after graduating military school when he was 21 years old, he immigrated to Toronto, Ontario, Canada and was able to bring his son over a few years later. Haislan worked numerous jobs and soon moved to Vancouver, British Columbia for his wrestling career. In December 2007, he officially became a Canadian citizen and earned a silver medal, while competing for the first time on Team Canada at the Pan Am Championships in 2008. Haislan has competed in 3 Olympics (Beijing 2008, London 2012 and Rio 2016).
