James E. Snow

James Edward Snow was born on July 1st, 1979, in Kalamazoo, Michigan to Cheryl Ann Poulsen and James Arthur Snow. He is the father of 3 children, Nathaniel Snow, Wyatt Snow and Jane Snow. James lived in Kalamazoo until 1992 when he and his family moved to Pomona, Missouri. His journey in Missouri was short lived, he only lived there for only 6 months, then moved back to Kalamazoo. After graduating high school in 1997 James went straight to the workforce, working for many automotive factories and restaurants like the Olive Garden in Portage, Michigan where he worked as a line cook for about 2 years. In 2001, James's dad passed away unexpectedly; the passing of his father opened his eyes and he realized that he had nothing going for himself, and in May of 2001 James joined the Marine Corps. During his tenure in the Marine Corps, James served as an Artillery Forward Observer and later deployed in support of Operation Iraqi freedom in 2003, and again in Fallujah and Mahmudiyah, Iraq in 2004. From 2005-2008 James served as a Marine Corps Recruiter in Flint, Michigan. In 2009 James deployed again on ship with 2nd Battalion 4th Marines, 11th MEU (Marine Expeditionary Unit), during his deployment he trained with the Australian Army and many other Military forces around the world. In 2011 James became a Career Planner for the Marine Corps where he assisted thousands of Marines with their career in the Corps. He did this job until he retired in 2016. Upon retiring from the Marine Corps, James attended college at University of Phoenix and in 2019 he earned a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology degree with honors and was accepted in the Epsilon Pi Tau honor Society. In 2018, James started his own video production company "Snow King Productions LLC", which was later change in 2021 to its current name "Snow King Media inc." In 2020 James attended College of the Desert in Palm Desert, California for film Production. Where he earned a basic and advanced film production certificate. Snow King Media and James Snows portfolio consist of filming videos for a Real Estate business, dentist office, congressional campaign commercial, home improvement television show, homes for Airbnb, Social Media campaigns, Graphic design for billboards, and many other projects. James's true passion is telling stories, he has written and directed a few short films. He is notably known for directing his most recent film "The Last Motel".
