Davide Lupinetti

Davide Lupinetti is a director from Silvi Marina, Italy, born in 1994. From young age, he loved hearing and creating stories while experimenting with different kinds of art: during his high school years he got awarded for one of his pictures from the international photographer Oliviero Toscani. He studied in and graduated from Media Design and Multimedia Arts in Milan, department of Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti (NABA). During his studies he moved to San Francisco studying Film at the San Francisco State University (SFSU). His first short film "50 e 50" got nominated in more than 20 film festivals around the world. Following the steps of "50 e 50", another success was occurred with his first short documentary "Under the Water" being awarded at the Venice Film Festivals with the award "Diversity as Value".
