Adam Plant

Adam Plant (he/him) is a trans actor from North Carolina. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Music and Religious Studies from Elon University, then went on to receive his Master of Divinity from Wake Forest University School of Divinity. Adam has a strong background in musical theatre and performs regionally throughout the southeast. Adam caught the attention of the public eye in 2016 when he publicly rebuked former NC Governor Pat McCrory. The Facebook post, which opposed the passage of HB2, (a bill targeting trans people's usage of restrooms and locker rooms) quickly went viral and was featured on Buzzfeed and other local and national news outlets. Adam went on to author an op-ed for the Washington Post and garnered support from public figures, including Montel Williams.
