Awais Gohar

Awais Gohar is a cinematographer and director from Pakistan, who graduated with a bachelor's in film from the esteemed National College of Arts Lahore. He's best known for the critically acclaimed feature film Kamli (2022), which got selected for the International Film Festival Rotterdam in 2023, and the short film Republic of Wailing Trees (2023) which got selected at the prestigious UK Asian Film Festival in 2023. Throughout recent years, Awais Gohar has skillfully directed and shot multiple short films, music videos, and fashion films in Pakistan.
